My practice is a cash practice. This means you pay the session fee directly, and I provide an invoice which you can submit to your medical aid for reimbursement (if you have funds available). I am registered with the major medical aids.
This depends on each client and the concerns you are bringing. My approach is to empower clients so that therapy is not something you need to rely on long-term, but rather a process that equips you to carry the work forward independently.
Some clients benefit from a short-term process (often around 3–6 sessions), while others may need more or less. This is discussed in the initial consultation and we agree together on frequency and a plan that balances therapeutic needs with practical considerations.
